Cancellation and Refund Policy – Playa Norte Rent a Car

At Playa Norte Rent a Car, we strive to provide the best service and a smooth rental experience. Please review our cancellation and refund policies carefully before booking.

  1. Cancellation & Modification Policy To avoid penalties, all cancellations or changes must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time .

  • Late Cancellation (Less than 24 hours): If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival, a penalty fee equivalent to one full rental day will be charged automatically .
  • Deposit Forfeiture: If you only paid a deposit and cancel late (within 24 hours), you are liable for the remaining balance to cover the equivalent of one full rental day .
  • No Show: If you do not pick up the vehicle or contact us within 2 hours of your scheduled time, the reservation will be marked as a “No Show,” the vehicle will be released for other customers, and the full penalty (1 rental day) will apply.

  1. Early Return Policy

  • No Refunds: Refunds do not apply for unused hours or partial rental days .
  • If you choose to return the golf cart earlier than the contracted time, you forfeit the remaining time.

  1. Cancellation During Rental Period If you decide to cancel the contract and return the cart while it is already in your possession :

  • You will be charged for the time used.
  • The minimum charge is one full rental day (24 hours), even if you return the cart on the same day you rented it .

  1. Mechanical Issues & Assistance If the golf cart experiences mechanical issues, our team will assist you immediately .

  • Compensation: Time lost due to mechanical failure (not caused by negligence) will be compensated with additional rental time.
  • No Cash Refunds: No cash refunds will be provided for mechanical issues .

  1. Refund Processing For eligible cancellations (made more than 24 hours in advance):

  • Refunds will be processed to the same payment method used for the reservation .
  • Processing Time: Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank’s policies.

Agreement By booking with Playa Norte Rent a Car, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions .
